Quincy Data Delivers Market Data between Aurora, IL and Weehawken, NJ at Lowest Known Latency: 4.14 Milliseconds

OAKLAND, Calif., Nov. 4, 2013 /PRNewswire/

Quincy Data, LLC (http://www.quincy-data.com//) announced an expansion of its industry leading QED market data offering with the opening of a point of presence in the NJ2 data center in Weehawken, NJ, operated by Savvis, a Century Link Company. Firms co-located in NJ2 can now receive select futures data from CME Group’s data center in Aurora, IL in 4.14 milliseconds—another best in class offering from Quincy Data.

Quincy’s addition of NJ2 is the latest milestone in the company’s strategy to level the playing field for all latency sensitive consumers of exchange data. Quincy Data already offers market data at the lowest known latency between Aurora and 350 E. Cermak in Chicago (185 microseconds), between Aurora and Carteret, NJ (4.09 milliseconds) and between Aurora and Secaucus, NJ (4.12 milliseconds).

“We are delighted to offer in the Weehawken colocation facility, select futures market data from CME Group exchanges including, Equity, Treasury, Energy, FX and Metals futures at the lowest known latencies,” says Stephane Tyc, co-founder. “Traders and risk managers recognize that best execution requires the timeliest data, and the timeliest data come from Quincy.”

Quincy Data’s service is powered by the McKay Brothers Microwave Network. “We extend our thanks to our partners at McKay for delivering another exceptional route,” says David Goebels of Quincy Sales. “We are excited to add Weehawken as we pursue data distribution and sourcing in every major trading colo in the state.”

• NJ Local millimeter wave network went live in April 2013 and now connects data centers in Carteret, Secaucus, and Newark with plans to add Weehawken, Piscataway and Mahwah.
